What is an aircraft charter?
An aircraft charter is a convenient and cost-effective way to fly. You can either hire an entire aircraft and fly to a destination chosen by you at times designated by you, or you can join another existing chartered flight that coincides with your travel requirements. We fly directly to where you what to go, when you want to go.
Isn't chartering an aircraft expensive?
No, chartering is not expensive. Depending on the number of people and the routing, an aircraft charter can be less expensive than flying on scheduled commercial services. It is always best to call and inquire about your group’s specific needs and compare cost and convenience. You also have the option of joining another existing chartered flight that coincides with your requirements to further save on costs.
How much advance notice is required for a charter?
When available, with as little as 2 hours advanced notice, BIAC can have an aircraft ready for take-off. Our aircraft charters are also based on aircraft availability. To ensure availability, booking in advance is always suggested.
Are last minute bookings more expensive than advance notice flights?
Last minute bookings do not affect the charter rate. If you book three months in advance or if you book the day before, the charter rate remains the same.
What kind of services does BIAC offer?
BIAC offers safe, convenient, and hassle-free air services. Some examples include business, government and executive services air travel, sports groups (including fly-in fishing, diving groups, etc), vacationers and smaller sized cargo (like documents, packages, parcels, etc.). When you inquire about a charter, do not hesitate to ask us about ground transportation and hotel reservations as well. From the minute you arrive to after you return, we are at your service.
What are the luggage limitations?
Each traveler can bring one carry-on, one personal item, and one checked bag free of charge. The maximum dimensions for a carry-on bag are 9 inches x 14 inches x 22 inches. The maximum dimensions for a personal item are 9 inches x 10 inches x 17 inches. Maximum weight for a checked bag is 50 pounds. Any luggage pieces over the luggage allowance will be subject to an additional charge of $50.
When should I arrive at the airport?
Twenty to thirty minutes prior to departure is a good guideline for arriving at the airport for a chartered flight. If you chartered the entire aircraft, there is no risk of missing your flight! If you are joining an existing chartered flight, then thirty minutes prior to departure will ensure that there are no unforeseen delays, and allows everyone to depart on time to make any other flight connections.
What is your cancellation policy?
Charters cancelled 30 days before scheduled flight will receive a full refund (minus processing fees). Charters cancelled less than 30 days before scheduled flight will receive a credit that is non-transferable and must be used within 6 months.
