Born and raised in Utila, Bay Islands of Honduras, Troy has had a passion for boats since his early years. With his father being a Captain, Troy developed an interest in boats at a very young age, and became a Captain himself at the age of 17. With over 30 years of marine experience, Troy now applies his experience and knowledge in both the private sector as an Entrepreneur, and the public sector as the Mayor of Utila.

His passion for boats and the sea has seen him on the water in various roles from the beginning of his career. As a diving aficionado, his dynamic and enthusiastic personality has led him to create a unique experience for divers and visitors of the Bay Islands of Honduras with one of the first dive shops on the island.  His interest in planes had him running charter flights.  His repertoire always included barges, ocean cargo transportation, construction materials and petroleum as well.  His newest business has him venturing into real estate, focusing on the island of Utila, where his local know-how comes into play again.

But whatever it is, with his great attention to detail, Troy upholds excellent standards by combining outstanding customer service and knowledge to ensure the best experiences, no matter which arena he is in.
